Position Overview:
As a Data Analyst on the Product team, you will play a key role in improving our mobile
applications by leveraging data to inform decision-making, identify opportunities for
enhancement, and enhance user experiences. You will collaborate closely with product
managers, designers, and developers to drive data-informed product decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis: Analyse user data, app usage metrics, and user feedback to identify trends,
patterns, and actionable insights that can be used to improve our mobile applications.
User Behavior Analysis: Monitor and analyze user behavior within our apps to understand
user journeys, preferences, and pain points. Identify opportunities for user engagement and
retention improvements.
A/B Testing: Plan, execute, and analyze A/B tests to evaluate the impact of product
changes and new features. Make data-driven recommendations based on test results.
Data Visualization: Create informative dashboards and visualizations to communicate
complex data findings to cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and
developers.
Feature Performance: Evaluate the performance of specific app features and
functionalities. Provide insights to guide feature prioritization and optimization efforts.
Competitor Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscapes.
Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the market.
User Feedback Integration: Collaborate with customer support and user research teams to
integrate user feedback into data analysis. Use qualitative insights to complement
quantitative data.
Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting data quality
checks and working with data engineering teams as needed.
Data-driven Recommendations: Provide data-backed recommendations for product
improvements, enhancements, and new feature development.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers,
designers, and developers, to drive data-informed product decisions and initiatives.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science,
Business).
● 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a product-focused role.
● Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, Excel).
● Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
● Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy.
● Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
