Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Consultant to join our dynamic team and play a
pivotal role in driving our data strategy. As a Senior Data Lead will lead a team of 6 data
professionals and work closely with our executive team, including the CEO, CFO, and CPO,
to provide data-driven insights and support decision-making processes. The ideal candidate
will have over 10 years of experience at the director level and a strong background in
technologies such as Snowflake, Tableau, DBT, Python, and similar data tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Strategy Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that
aligns with the company’s goals and objectives. Continuously refine and evolve the data
strategy to keep it current with industry trends and best practices.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of 6+ data professionals, fostering a culture of
collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Provide guidance and support to team members to
ensure they deliver high-quality work.

Data Architecture: Oversee the design and maintenance of our data architecture, ensuring
scalability, security, and performance. Collaborate with IT teams to optimise data
infrastructure.

Data Analytics: Drive data analytics initiatives, including data exploration, visualisation, and
predictive modelling. Leverage Tableau and other tools to create actionable insights for
various stakeholders.

Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to
ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulations.
Data Integration: Lead efforts to integrate data from various sources, including mobile app
usage data, customer data, and external data sources, to create a holistic view of our
business.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the CEO, CFO, and CPO to provide
data-driven insights and support strategic decision-making. Serve as a trusted advisor on all
data-related matters.

Data Security: Ensure the security and privacy of sensitive data by implementing robust
security measures and staying up-to-date with data security best practices.

Data Quality: Monitor data quality and implement processes for data cleansing and
validation to maintain the integrity of our datasets.

Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging technologies and data trends.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.

Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data
Science, Business Analytics).
● 10+ years of experience in a director-level data leadership role.
● Strong expertise in data and data warehouse technologies, including Snowflake,
Tableau, DBT, Python, and similar tools.
● Proven experience in developing and executing data strategies.
● Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
● Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex
data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
● Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
● A track record of making data-driven decisions that positively impact business
outcomes.
